 June 2011

Screening of BUCK followed by Q&A with Cindy Meehl and Buck Brannaman, Soho House, NY, June 6, 2011
The screening is presented by REACT to FILM founders Coralie & Dennis Paul and hosted by Chester Weber, Georgina Bloomberg, Jazz Johnson Merton and Juliet Reid. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Cindy Meehl & star of the film Buck Brannaman.

Winner of the Audience Award at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, BUCK, a richly textured and visually stunning film, follows Brannaman from his abusive childhood to his phenomenally successful approach to horses. A real-life “horse-whisperer”, he eschews the violence of his upbringing and teaches people to communicate with their horses through leadership and sensitivity, not punishment.
